WHY LAMINATE OR THE BENEFITS OF LAMINATION:

Lamination protects pictures or printed material from fingerprints, smudges, spills and abrasions.
It also protects items which have to endure a lot of handling (printed items on Fairs, etc.).
Lamination adds value to the printed material: it significantly enhances colour and contrast. It can even change completely the finish of the print or picture by over-laminating it with a surface of a different texture: gloss, matt, satin, textured etc.
Lamination helps to preserve colours longer, indoor and outdoors: by slowing down the colour fading process, it can maintain materials in a like-new condition for several years.
Lamination allows medium to long term preservation under difficult climate conditions when the item is exposed to outdoor conditions (cold temperature, rain,etc.). If properly laminated, less expensive materials can also be used outdoors.
Lamination increases strength and rigidity of the printed material.

MACtac technical application tips

IMAGin LF 3697 PVC 50 μ max. 5 years

Ultra clear gloss, conformable cast PVC, coated with an optically clear permanent adhesive.
Designed for the long term protection of digital printed images for indoor and outdoor on highly curved surfaces.
Recommended for the protection of MACal® 9215, micro-perforated vinyl and MACfleet 6529 Di, conformable white PVC, for the decoration of flat, curved, riveted or corrugated surfaces ; total coverage of fleet decoration.
The in-built UV filter retards colour fading caused by ultraviolet light exposure.
